Involving Youth in Your Substance Abuse Prevention Program

Audience: State- and local-level substance abuse prevention practitioners
Description
This interactive, self-paced course is appropriate for practitioners engaged in assessing the substance abuse prevention needs of communities. Using a case study approach, practitioners will explore a variety of data sources and strategies for identifying, locating, and accessing data routinely collected and/or maintained by agencies and organizations.
What Does Participation Entail?
This course will take approximately two hours to complete, though timing will vary depending on the participant’s familiarity with the content, learning style, and competing demands on time. Participants will be provided with access information following registration.
Accreditation
This course is endorsed by the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) for Prevention Specialist certification or re-certification. On passing the assessment at the end of this course (80% correct), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion which they can submit to their respective credentialing authorities.
