Marshfield Clinic, Northwoods Coalition, and the Alliance for Wisconsin Youth are pleased to offer a Question, Persuade, Refer-Train the Trainer course. This one day training will be facilitated by Mary VanHaute, Suicide Prevention Educator, Trainer, and Author

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), a practical and proven suicide prevention program, is a gatekeeper program that teaches participants how to ask the Question about suicide, Persuade someone to get help, and Refer them to help and save a life. It is recognized worldwide and on the SAMHSA National Registry of Evidence Based Programs and Practices.

This train-the-trainer course will certify participants to be QPR instructors in their communities, workplaces, and/or schools. Anyone is welcome to attend.

This training is limited to the first 35 individuals with priority given to those who reside or work in Ashland, Douglas, Eau Claire, Florence, Forest, Menominee, Oneida or Vilas counties. All participants must register by Friday, September 1, 2017.
