Neurobiology of Addiction Training

Marshfield Clinic, Northwoods Coalition and the Alliance for Wisconsin Youth are pleased to offer a training on the Neurobiology of Addiction and Behavior: Making Sense of the Mystery, presented by Flo Hilliard.


This workshop will present the latest research on the brain and addiction in clear, user friendly language; discuss ways to operationalize this information in the treatment setting; a use knowledge gained to work effectively in all service provider settings with substance abusing individuals.


This one day training will be held from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm on Monday April, 25 2016 at Hotel Marshfield, 2700 S. Central Ave., Marshfield WI 54449. This training is designed for participants in prevention, treatment, healthcare, human services and law enforcement.


The training and food are being provided free of charge. Lodging is not provided but if needed, a block of rooms has been reserved under “Northwoods Coalition” at $83.00 per night.


This training is limited to the first 80 individuals. Please register by Monday, April 18, 2016.
