Dane County, Wisconsin, is home to a vibrant Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) community. A closer look reveals that Dane County’s LGBTQ+ population experiences barriers to well-being, and that those barriers are often even more pronounced for those who identify as part of other marginalized groups.

Public Health Madison & Dane County, The City of Madison Human Resources Department, and the City of Madison Department of Civil Rights invite you to join us for a LGBTQ+ Health Equity training.

Facilitated by three LGBTQ+ experts with lived experience, you will learn more about health inequities suffered by the LGBTQ+ community and imagine ways to create more inclusive services and environments. Light refreshments will be provided.

Register here for this event and see the LGBTQ Health Equity Training Flyer for more information.
