This is a FREE moderated online course that addresses the role and application of ethics in substance abuse prevention. The course will start on Monday, May 22 and will end on Friday, June 2, 2017. Using cases and interactive activities, participants will explore the six standards in the Prevention Code of Ethics and learn to use a 4-step decision-making process to assess, address, and evaluate a range of ethical issues.

This course is endorsed by the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) for Prevention Specialist certification or re-certification.

On passing the assessment at the end of this course (80% correct), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion which they can submit to their respective credentialing authorities.
