Hosted by the Wisconsin Attorney General’s Office, this free 2-day multi-disciplinary conference is for professionals working in the area of child protection. The goal of the conference is to educate professionals on the complex issues associated with child protection, to broaden participants’ knowledge base in multiple areas, and to increase understanding of the other agencies’ roles and responsibilities. Conference topics will include, but will not be limited to: child maltreatment, risk and protective factors; Internet crimes against children, AMBER Alert, drug-endangered children, human trafficking, sexting and cyberbullying; and prosecution of offenders.
