Prevent Suicide Wisconsin is having its 7th Annual Conference on April 19, 2017 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center, Wisconsin Dells. Registration is now open. Deadline to register for the conference is on April 4th, 2017. The Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Timothy Lineberrry. There will be a suicide attempt survivor panel at this years conference where participants can learn how those with lived experience can inform our suicide prevention efforts and what has and has not been helpful in their journeys.

There will be 2 pre-conference events on April 18, 2017. One of them will be on “Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR): Core Competencies for Mental Health Professionals from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. The fee is $90 and the deadline to register for this pre-conference is March 31, 2017. A limited number of rooms will be available at the Kalahari at a reduced rate of $82 (one person in room) or $129 (2-4 people in room). These rooms will be available until March 18 or until they have all been reserved. Book your room early to receive the reduced rate.
