You’re Invited to Share Your Mental Health and/or Substance Use Recovery Knowledge and Expertise!

Mental Health and Substance Use Recovery Training Conference
16th Annual Statewide Conference: October 29 & 30, 2020

We are now accepting proposals for 90-minute workshops.
Proposals that demonstrate evidence-based and best practices, promote strength-based approached, enhance skills, support people’s recovery, demonstrate serving diverse populations, as well as those that energize people are invited to apply.  Presenters are strongly encouraged to use strength-based, person-centered, recovery-oriented language in their written & verbal presentation.

Proposal Deadline: February 21, 2020

 

Please complete one Online Proposal Form for each workshop idea.  Workshop title, description and learning objectives are required at time of submission.
Typical compensation for an accepted proposal is complimentary conference registration and up to two nights of complimentary lodging.
UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education staff and the 2020 MHUSR Conference Planning Committee will review all proposals and selected presenters will be notified by May 29, 2020.  All proposals are selected through a collaborative review process completed by the conference planning committee.  The planning committee is made up of UWSP Continuing Education staff, community-based providers, treating & recovery program administrators, and other allies, many of whom identify as having lived experience.
