Northwoods Prevention Conference & “Building Your Coalition Through Effective Leadership” Pre-Conference Scholarship Opportunity

June 2 (Pre-Conference day), 3-4, 2020 (Event days)|  Central Wisconsin Convention & Expo Center, Rothschild, WI

Marshfield Clinic Health System, Northwoods Coalition and the Alliance for Wisconsin Youth are pleased to offer scholarships for the 2020 Northwoods Prevention Conference and “Building Your Coalition Through Effective Leadership” Pre-Conference to individuals whose coalitions are members of Northwoods Coalition/Alliance for Wisconsin Youth. Scholarships will be offered to cover the registration fee ($50) to attend the conference and hotel stay based on the discretion of Marshfield Clinic Health System staff. There is no registration cost to attend the pre-conference.

The application deadline is: Friday, February 21 at 5:00 pm. See the attached Save-the-Date email for more information.

Scholarship Application Instructions:

1. This is a competitive application process. Multiple individuals may apply from a single coalition. Marshfield Clinic Health System reserves the right to limit multiple scholarships to ensure fair distribution. Priority will be given to coalitions that do not have a Drug Free Communities (DFC) Support Program grant or other prevention funding.
2. Registration is not available yet; more information will be sent at a later date. Instructions on how to register will be provided in the scholarship award notification email. Do not register until you receive notification of scholarship.
3. Click on the following link to apply for a scholarship: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TWKN69R. The application submissions are due no later than Friday, February 21, 2020 at 5:00 pm. Notification of scholarships will be sent two weeks following the scholarship application deadline.
4. Participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations no later than May 13, 2020. Make your hotel reservations online 24 hours a day by using the following link: Northwoods Prevention Conference or call 715‐344‐0200, press 3 and reference Northwoods Prevention Conference and Group Block Code AMA.
